CCTV appeal after £100 worth of perfume is stolen from Gateshead pharmacy

An investigation is under way after a theft from a Gateshead pharmacy which saw over a £100 worth of perfume stolen.

At around 3.30pm on August 3, Police received a report that a man had taken several bottles of perfume from behind the counter at the Well Pharmacy on Beaconsfield Road.

He then left the pharmacy without paying.

Detectives have now released the image of a man they would like to trace in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "He was in the store at the time and we believe he might have information which can assist the enquiry.

"The man, or anyone who knows him, or who thinks they can assist is asked to contact police using the Tell us Something page on our website using log 086713B/21."
