The Centre for Contemporary Photography hosts the nation’s largest open-entry photo media exhibition and anyone who owns a camera in Australia can enter. The annual event offers $20,000 worth of prizes over 31 categories, ranging from the most awesome sauce image to best action shot, best video work and best use of light.
For the 2015 awards, snapper Edita Knowler took home the top prize, the Leica and Ilford Excellence in Photomedia award, for her work Metropolis: NYC 2015. The photograph is on display along with the other 30 finalists.
