CCI to hold NCA U-19 boys camp

MUMBAI: The prestigious Cricket Club of India (CCI) will host a month long National Cricket Academy's zonal camp for India's Under-19 men's cricketers from April 26.

"The cricket committee of the CCI is in touch with the NCA officials about the CCI staging this camp. It will also be a good opportunity for the boys to experience a bit of history of Indian cricket which is an integral part of the CCI," a source told TOI on Friday.

The camp will include around 20 boys. This is after a long time that the CCI will stage a BCCI camp.

"When Duncan Fletcher was the coach of the Indian team (from 2011 to 2015), there was a Team India camp at CCI," a source said.

A similar zonal camp for U-19 boys will be conducted at Rajkot.
