
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 results on May 13. Following it, the toppers list for 2026 will be released soon. Over 85 percentage of students passed the board exams, down by over 3 percentage points since last year.
The 2026 board examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 10. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience, CBSE has enabled multiple platforms for students to access their results, including DigiLocker, the UMANG app, SMS, IVRS, and official websites, allowing quick and easy viewing and downloading of the Class 12 scorecard without delays.
CBSE Class 12 Toppers 2026
In the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026, Trivandrum has emerged as the top-performing region with an impressive pass percentage of 95.82%, followed by Chennai at 93.84%. Bengaluru secured the third position with 93.19%, while Vijayawada stood fourth with 92.77%. The region-wise data highlights the consistent academic excellence of southern regions, with Trivandrum maintaining its leading position this year as well.
CBSE Class 12 Toppers 2025
Last year, Meghna Shrivastava of Step by Step School, Sec-132, Taj Expressway, Noida, topped with 499 marks out of 500. Anuoushka Chandra from SAJ School, Sec 14C, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, came second with 498 marks. Seven students are tied at the third spot with 497 marks each. Of these seven, one is from Jaipur, 1 from Ludhiana, 1 from Haridwar, 1 from Noida, 1 from Meerut and 2 from Ghaziabad.

- Visit the official CBSE websites — cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
- Click on the link for “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) 2018”
- Enter your roll number and other required details correctly
- Click on submit to view your result
- Download and take a printout for reference until the original marksheet is issued
CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 via DigiLocker, UMANG, SMS & IVRS
To ensure seamless access, CBSE has enabled multiple ways for students to check their Class 12 results in 2026:
DigiLocker
Students can download their digital marksheets through DigiLocker. Those with an APAAR ID can access documents directly, while others can sign up using access codes provided by their schools.
UMANG App
The UMANG app allows students to check their results by selecting CBSE services and entering their roll number and date of birth.

SMS Service
Students can also receive their results via SMS by sending their details in the prescribed format to the official CBSE number.
