CBSE Class 10 result 2018: 92.55% differently abled students pass

The wait is over for students awaiting their CBSE Class 10th board examination result. Here is the direct link to check the result.

Students can view their result on the official websites of the board: www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and www.results.nic.in after they are released. Students are advised to keep their roll number, school number, date of birth ready before the results are out.

This year, four students topped CBSE Class 10 exams scoring 499 out of 500. The toppers are Prakhar Mittal from DPS Gurgaon, Rimzhim Agarwal from RK Public school Bijnor, Nandini Garg from Scottish International school Shamli, and Sreelakshmi G from Bhavan Vidyalayas, Cochin. Girls have done better than boys by 3.35%. Girls have a pass percentage of 88.67% and boys 85.32%.

The total number of candidates who have secured more than 90% and above is 1,31,493. And 27,476 students have secured more than 95%.

Thiruvananthapuram region has topped with a pass percentage of 99.60%, followed by Chennai (97.37%), and Ajmer (91.86%). Delhi has a pass percentage of 78.62%.

The pass percentage of differently abled students is 92.55%.

The toppers are: Anushka Panda from Suncity Gurgaon School with 489 marks, Sanya Gandhi from Uttam School in Ghaziabad with 489 marks, and Sonya Deep Pradhan with 484 marks from JNV Dhanpur, Orissa.

A total of 11.45% students have been placed in compartment, while candidates in foreign schools have secured a pass percentage of 98.32%.

JNV schools have performed the best with pass percentage of 97.31% followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas with 95.96% and private schools are third with 89.49%

1) Visit CBSE result website: cbseresults.nic.in

1) Click on the link for result 2018

2) Key in the details as required on the login page that opens

3) Submit

4) Result will be displayed on the screen

5) Download the result and also take a print out

Students will also be able to check their results on Google by searching for CBSE Class 10 result. They will have to key in the required details to login and check their results.

The CBSE exams this year were mired in controversy after the Class 12 economics and Class 10 mathematics papers were allegedly leaked, triggering criticism against the board over the way the exams were conducted. A re-test was held for Class 12 economics students but the board decided against one for Class 10 mathematics paper.
