Pete Prisco of CBS Sports has released Top 100 players in the NFL list, and it included three former Bulldogs.
Georgia great Todd Gurley, now with the Los Angeles Rams, checked in at No. 29 on the list, making him the fourth highest running back. Saquon Barkely. Ezekiel Elliott and Alvin Kamara ranked above Gurley.
“He would be higher on this list were it not for the knee concerns. If he’s healthy, he’s a top-15 player. Big if,” Prisco wrote.
AJ Green was in at No. 31 on the list, ranking as the No. 7 wide receiver.
“Injuries shortened his 2018 season, but he remains a big-play threat and one of the best in the NFL.”
The third Bulldog on the list is Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins. Atkins checked it an No. 37 and is the second ranked defensive tackle.
“He continues to be a force inside for the Cincinnati defense. He plays the run but can also push the pocket.”
