On Wednesday, CBS Sports college football expert Barrett Sallee made his official preseason College Football Playoff predictions, and they are sure to please Dawg Nation.
Sallee has the Dawgs knocking off the defending champion Clemson Tigers as the four seed and advancing to the national championship. In that game, Sallee predicted UGA to beat the number-2 seeded Alabama Crimson Tide in a rematch of the 2018 national championship, thus winning the school’s first title since 1980.
While preseason predictions such as this are rather meaningless, it still is refreshing to see respected experts giving the Dawgs some love before the season kicks off.
