On Tuesday, Pete Prisco of CBS Sports unveiled his Week 1 power rankings, and he was the Washington Football Team at No. 13.

There are plenty of reasons to be bullish on Fitzpatrick in 2021. His most recent play is encouraging, and now he comes to a team with, perhaps, the league’s best defense. He can take chances without worrying about if his defense can make a stop.
Prisco had Washington as his top team in the NFC East in his power rankings, with the Dallas Cowboys right behind the WFT at No. 14. The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles were ranked No. 24 and No. 26, respectively.
