Property advisor CBRE has appointed Martin Speirs as an associate director, joining its advisory and transaction services team in Glasgow.
He joins from Cushman and Wakefield, after spending the last seven years working within the business space agency team.
Most recently, Speirs advised Castleforge Partners on several transactions at the Garment Factory in Glasgow’s Merchant City. Other notable transactions included acquisitions on behalf of Cigna, Peninsula Business Services, Lloyds Register, Ceridian, and most recently, Isio Group.
Speirs' other key clients included Ardstone, AEW, BMO Real Estate Partners and Legal and General Investment Management.
In his new role, Speirs will work with clients in the office sector undertaking development, agency, occupier consultancy and tenant representation.
He said: “I enjoyed my time at Cushman & Wakefield, but I’m thrilled to be joining CBRE, as it represents an exciting new challenge for me.
“I am looking forward to working with new people and seeing how the office world continues to re-emerge from the pandemic.”
