CB Xavien Howard exits vs. Bills with injury in third quarter

The Miami Dolphins’ battle with the Buffalo Bills has been a war of attrition.

In the third quarter, cornerback Xavien Howard left the game with cramps, as he went to the locker room with a trainer. Howard had been dealing with a groin injury throughout the week.

Without Howard in the game, special teams ace Keion Crossen has entered the game.

Byron Jones, who would normally be across from Howard, is still on the PUP list, so Miami is down to Crossen, Nik Needham, undrafted rookie Kader Kohou and Noah Igbinoghene.
