CB Tyson Campbell ruled questionable with a shoulder injury vs. 49ers

The Jacksonville Jaguars are unfortunately piling injuries up on both sides of the ball, and with starting cornerback Shaq Griffin out with a concussion, their No. 2 cornerback is now injured as well in Tyson Campbell.

Campbell landed awkwardly on his shoulder while attempting to break up a pass to Deebo Samuel on a third-and-five play around the three minute mark of the third quarter. Campbell was visibly in pain after the ball fell incomplete and the trainers had to com out a look at him.

Veteran cornerback Tre Herndon didn’t dress, so the Jags were down one cornerback heading into the game. With Nevin Lawson in for Griffin, that leaves Chris Claybrooks as the team’s only option for Campbell.

Campbell had three tackles to his name before exiting the game. However, things have gotten out of hand in terms of the score (30-3), so it’s unlikely he’d return even if cleared.
