CB Patrick Peterson back with Cardinals after suspension ends

Arizona Cardinals Patrick Peterson’s six-game suspension ended after Sunday. He was not allowed to be at the team facility, have a playbook or be in contact with coaches or players.

That time is over and he returned to work, and he is excited about it.

The team is glad he’s back.

Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury had not seen Peterson as of about noon.

“I haven’t seen him,” he told reporters Monday. “I left that to V.J. (Vance Joseph), communicated with him this morning, and I know he’s here. I’m sure he was in the team meeting, but I didn’t get to see him just yet.”

The Cardinals’ first practice of the week is Wednesday. They play the New York Giants this weekend.
