A cavapoo who doesn't want to go on a walk in the rain has started staging adorable protests against her owner.
One-year-old Maisie shows her lack of enthusiasm to go outside by starfishing on all fours – and her 'tantrums' have been caught on camera.
Maisie has always hated the bad weather, with rain being one of her biggest fears.
When her owner Rachel NG, 25, whips out her rain jacket from the cupboard, she knows it can only mean one thing – prompting her to do all she can to get out of going for a walk.
In the video, Maisie can be seen starfishing on all fours with her paws outstretched, clinging to the floor, desperate not to go outside.
Rachel, who got Maisie in June last year, has her on the lead and is gently trying to get her up and moving – but the pooch refuses to budge.
Rachel, a management consultant from Harpenden, Hertfordshire, said: "To be honest, sometimes I know she's just being lazy and doesn’t want to go out.
"But usually it’s related to putting on a raincoat, because she knows when that comes out the weather is bad.
"Her famous trick to try and get out of a walk in the rain is the starfish and it makes me laugh every time – she really is a unique pup."
