Cavan forward Cian Mackey has reached out to the public in a bid to find a young Donegal fan he accidentally hit with a football in the warm-up of Sunday's Ulster final.
The veteran forward was introduced at half-time and scored a point in Clones as his county fell to a five-point defeat to Donegal.
And as Mackey and his team mates recover from the disappointment, he took to social media to address an issue from the warm-up.
Mackey needs help from the GAA family to find the young Donegal fan that he accidentally hit with the football, urging anyone that might be able to track her down to get in touch.
In a tweet, Mackey said: "Looking to try and contact the family of a young Donegal girl that was behind the goals that we warmed up at!
"I hit her with a ball in the warm up so would like to make sure she is okay!
"Anyone that could help it would be greatly appreciated."
And in response to the tweet, Donegal GAA have asked supporters with any information to contact them or Mackey himself.
Donegal GAA said: "If anyone has any infomation on the girl hit by the ball in Clones please contact Cian, @MarkMcHugh1 or this account and thank you Cian Mackey for asking after her."
Cavan will meet one of the four winners from round three of the qualifiers - which will be played on Saturday - in just over a week, with a win ensuring a place in this year's Super 8's.
With the likes of Mayo, Tyrone, Armagh and Kildare the big names in round three, Mickey Graham's men will know their fate on Monday morning when the draw is made.
