The recent uptick in novel coronavirus cases did not deter some people from traveling on Saturday to Togetsukyo bridge in the Arashiyama district of Kyoto and other tourist areas.

Visitors wearing masks walked along the bridge, enjoying the clear weather and scenic autumn views of the mountains.

Souvenir shops in the area were also crowded with customers.
