A post-mortem will be conducted after an Indigenous man died at an Adelaide watch house overnight.
Police said the 47-year-old man, of no fixed address, was found unconscious in his cell at the Adelaide City watch house at 1:05am Tuesday.
Staff immediately commenced CPR until paramedics arrived but the man could not be revived.
"At this time the cause of death is unknown and a post-mortem will be conducted," a police statement read.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
