Geelong have rested skipper Joel Selwood for Saturday's clash with Carlton at the MCG, while Richmond bad boy Sydney Stack and GWS forward Jesse Hogan are chances to make their returns this weekend.

The Cats made four changes, with Selwood, Luke Dahlhaus (rested) and Quinton Narkle (axed) joining injured spearhead Jeremy Cameron (hamstring) on the sidelines.

Veteran Cat Shaun Higgins, Mark O'Connor, Esava Ratugolea and Max Holmes return to the side, while Carlton welcome back Zac Williams from suspension.

Blues skipper Patrick Cripps has been named despite injuring his foot in last week's win over Fremantle.

Stack, who spent time in a Perth jail during the off-season for breaking Western Australia's strict COVID-19 laws, was named in Richmond's extended squad for Sunday's match against Collingwood at the MCG.

Tigers trio Shane Edwards (ankle), Bachar Houli (ankle), and Callum Coleman-Jones (calf) will all miss the game, but ruckman Toby Nankervis returns from a knee injury.

The Magpies lost Josh Daicos to a finger injury, and they axed wingman Caleb Poulter.

The Giants have named Hogan in their extended squad for Sunday's clash with Gold Coast in Ballarat, with the former Docker a chance to play his first game since round nine and just his third of the year.

The Western Bulldogs will debut last year's No.1 pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan in Sunday's match against the Swans at Marvel Stadium.

Star Bulldogs forward Aaron Naughton will miss through concussion, while Patrick Lipinski and Toby McLean were dropped.

Brisbane have been boosted by the return of Brownlow medallist Lachie Neale for Saturday's encounter against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium, but Jarrod Berry was ruled out with his own calf issue.

Midfielder Zak Jones returns for the Saints for the first time since suffering a quad rupture in round eight, but forward Jack Higgins goes out with back soreness.

Hawthorn have left out Tim O'Brien, Damon Greaves and Jai Newcombe for Saturday's battle with Fremantle in Tasmania.

Denver Grainger-Barras, Tyler Brockman and Emerson Jeka come into the side.

Fremantle lost wingman Brett Bewley to injury, paving the way for Bailey Banfield to return.

Essendon lost skipper Dyson Heppell to a thumb injury for Friday night's meeting with Adelaide at Marvel Stadium, with the Crows losing spearhead Taylor Walker (neck) and Luke Brown (Achilles).

West Coast will be without Alex Witherden (groin), Jack Redden (knee), and Jamaine Jones for Monday night's clash with North Melbourne in Perth, but the return of Andrew Gaff (thumb) and Liam Ryan (suspension) is a major boost.

The Kangaroos could welcome back Jared Polec, who hasn't played since round three because of a long-term hamstring issue.
