Glasgow's Cathouse is reopening as a bar - and it'll serve cocktails

Glasgow's Cathouse Rock Club is undergoing a make-over, and it's going to be quite glamorous.

The institutional city centre rock club on Union street will reopen on the 1st of October as a bar in line with coronavirus restrictions - and will be selling cocktails.

Regulars will still be able to recognise the old haunt as the name and interiors will remain the same, but new additions will be revealed by bosses shortly.

The Cathouse will open Thursday to Sunday, after the October 1st Launch.

The news comes after Sauchiehall street's The Garage announced it too will reopen as a bar, with the new name "Electric Gardens at The Garage".

The bar will open Wednesday to Sunday and the interiors will be designed to replicate an indoor beer garden.
