'Catholics will be shot' slur painted on building in Bo'ness investigated by cops

Thugs who painted the words 'Catholics will be shot' on a building in Bo'ness are being hunted by police.

Officers were made aware of the sectarian vandalism in Borrowstoun Crescent over the weekend and believe it happened during the early hours of Saturday morning.

They're asking anyone with information to contact them on 101.

A woman who lives nearby didn't want to be named, but told Falkirk Live: "This turned my stomach when I walked past on Saturday morning.

"There's just no need for it. No need at all.

"I hope whoever is responsible is caught soon."

"I am actually ashamed to say I am from and live in Bo'ness after this.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing following a report of a sectarian vandalism to a building in Borrowstoun Crescent, Bo'ness overnight Friday and into Saturday 19/20 March."
