Ex-Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley became the latest victim on Strictly Come Dancing after she and dance partner Johannes Radebe failed to impress the judges.
At Saturday night's live Halloween-theme show, the pair performed a Cha Cha Cha to score 24 points from the judges ahead of the fans' votes.
Then when the BBC hit returned with the results show on Sunday night, viewers watched the pair land in the dreaded dance-off - where they lost out to BBC presenter Mike Bushell and Katya Jones in what was a split decision with head judge Shirley Ballas having the final say.
The result had been leaked on social media earlier in the day and many Strictly fans already had been sharing their anger at the result.
On Twitter , one viewer wrote: "What is going on with strictly this year? First it was Dev and Dianne, now Catherine and Johannes!"
And another said: " It was bad enough when Dev was voted off, but how in the world could Mike be thought the better dancer against Catherine? Can’t wait to see what develops next Saturday."
Meanwhile, South Shields comedian Chris Ramsey , despite not having much impressed Strictly judges with his performance on Saturday night, remains to dance another day.
