Catherine Tyldesley shares gorgeous photos from family outing with newborn baby girl

She recently welcomed a baby girl with her husband Tom Pitfield and Catherine Tydesley looked stunning as she enjoyed a morning outing with their new arrival. The actress from Walkden posed with her daughter who she carried in a pink cloud papoose during a visit to Lyme Park in Stockport.

Former Coronation Street star Catherine wore a pretty floral skirt with a puff-sleeved denim jacket and white trainers for their trip to the visitor attraction. And she spoke highly of Lyme Park, which is famous for its role as Pemberley, Mr Darcy's home, in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.

Sharing snaps on her Instagram Cath wrote: "Loving being a family of four. A beautiful morning @nt_lymepark - a firm favourite of ours!" One photo showed the doting mum-of-two exploring with their seven-year-old son Alfie.

She added: "We love being part of @nationaltrust - so many amazing places to visit. If you get chance to see the gardens here - please go!! It lifts the soul! So beautiful."

Former Corrie co-star Samia Longchambon said: "Gorgeous all of you." And homeonashoestrin commented: "You look amazing mumma." And another follower claire.dean.1806 said: "Beautiful! Lovely "Pride and prejudice" flashbacks too."

On April 21 Cath and photographer Tom shared the arrival of their baby girl. "We are so happy to announce that our beautiful daughter has arrived," they wrote. "We are grateful beyond words and feel overjoyed that our family is complete."

Cath and Tom announced the birth alongside an adorable first photo of their daughter's tiny feet. The star, who played Eva Price in Corrie from 2011 to 2018, announced the joyous news that she was expecting back in October

Catherine, 38, opened up to followers about her pregnancy journey admitting it felt as though she’d been pregnant for a lot longer than she had been. "Apparently an African bush elephant is pregnant for 22 months!" she joked in one Instagram post.

"I fear that my body may have me confused with an elephant! It feels like I’ve been pregnant since 1942… Cherishing pjs, a bump and copious amounts of pineapple while I can."

In February she told how each day had brought 'new obstacles' because of her hormone sensitivity. "Some days I am met with loss of vision at several points during the day through ocular, hormone related migraines," Cath said. "I have had to pull over in my car and ride out vision loss, crying on my own till it passes…But baby needs those hormones to flourish. For me it’s an inconvenience- to her its staying alive."

She continued: "My pregnancy insomnia means that some days , I can barely get out of bed. I can’t ignore my body- it’s doing its thing. Yes it’s hard - but my daughter is strong and thriving. That is what matters the most."
