Catherine Tyldesley shares amazing 3D optical illusion bedroom for her son

Catherine Tyldesley has impressed fans with her amazing optical illusion bedroom for her son Alife.

The former Coronation Street actress and her husband Tom Pitfield have been renovating their home, and they've created an awesome space theme room for their five-year-old.

Fans rushed to compliment the dark blue mind-bending panel effect wallpaper.

Alfie's room also features a solar system picture, an astronaut suit printed bedding and fairy lights.

"As you know we’ve been renovating our home," said Cath, 37, as she shared photos on her Instagram.

"Amazing, we love how you’ve styled the wood panel wallpaper! It pairs perfectly with any scheme/theme... "Bedroom goals," praised one follower.

"Love the panels," said another.

"Wow that looks so authentic, it’s like an optical illusion," commented another.

"Love this thought it was panelling," another fan told her.

Cath, from Walkden, played bubbly Eva Price in Corrie from 2011 to 2018.

In 2019 she starred in the BBC One comedy Scarborough, set in the Yorkshire seaside town and filmed in Stockport, with Salford comic Jason Manford.

She recently showcased her skills as a playwright and led an all-star cast during the COVID-19 pandemic in the play The Ceremony, filmed at an empty Leeds Grand Theatre.

The cast was made up of The Royle Family and fellow Coronation Street star Sue Johnston, who played Eva's grandmother Gloria, and Paula Lane who played Kylie Platt in the soap.

Broadcast online, it also starred Emmerdale's Samantha Giles, Emmerdale and EastEnders actor Stephen Rahman-Hughes and West End leading lady Jodie Prenger.

All proceeds from the production went to Acting for Others and The Theatre Artists Fund, which have supported the UK arts industry during the coronavirus pandemic and Leeds Heritage Theatres, made up of Leeds Grand Theatre, City Varieties Music Hall and Hyde Park Picture House.
