Catherine Tyldesley's husband 'fuming' she told the world he watches her sex scenes

Catherine Tyldesley joked her husband was refusing to get out of bed and start the day with her after she revealed their relationship secret.

The former Coronation Street star told how she invites him along to watch whenever she films a sex scene.

She said that as well as asking his opinion on which angles are her most flattering, her husband Tom Pitfield seeing how "clinical" the romantic scenes are stops him getting jealous.

But Catherine, who is pregnant with their second child, later joked that he'd been left less than impressed about her telling the world about her arrangement.

The actress, 38, shared a video of herself sitting on the edge of a bed with a cuppa in one hand and an eye mask pushed up onto her forehead.

Looking a bit guilty, she said: "Tom didn't want to get up with me.

"He's fuming. I'm fuming, he doesn't know what he's missing! Party for one."

Catherine dished on their unusual arrangement as she chatted on the Hot Mess Mums Club podcast.

The soon-to-be mum-of-two said: "Most of my relationships before Tom, well in fact, all of them, ended because of my job. They didn’t get it, the jealousy. But Tom is so chilled.

"I remember the night before rehearsals for my sex scenes, and I said, 'Babe, if I straddle like this, does my bum look really bad? Have I got cauliflower ass?'"

She added: "He’s been there on set when I’ve had to snog other actors. But I think that’s good. Tom being there means he can see how clinical it is - and not remotely sexy."

Catherine, who already shares son Alfie, seven, with Tom and has a daughter on the way, also used her time on the platform to praise him for stepping up during her pregnancy.

She said: "I feel like Tom has more or less been solo parenting for months because I’ve found it so difficult.

"He gets up with Alfie and takes him to school most days because I just can’t function in the morning."
