Catherine Tyldesley has addressed speculation around her wedding ring and admitted she had to replace it after losing the orginal on a spa day.
The former Coronation Street star, 37, is married to personal trainer and Eat, Shop, Save star, Tom Pitfield, with whom she shares son, Alfie.
However, it appears that Tom may have been left frustrated with his wife of six years after she returned home from a spa getaway without her wedding band.
During an Instagram question and answer with her 636,000 followers, the actress revealed why she wears three rings.
One fan asked: "Is that your wedding ring and engagement ring or an eternity ring as well? Is all 3 which order? [sic]"
Responding to the query, Catherine said: "This is actually, so it's my engagement ring - which I love.
"And this is my second ring."
Explaining the situation, Catherine continued: "Because I actually lost my first wedding ring at a spa day - I left it in a robe!"
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Catherine had been using the furlough scheme to prop up her production company, Dreambag, between December 2020 and April of this year.
The actress and Tom used the scheme, which they were entitled to do so, to boost their company with up to £10,000 per month to prevent the business from collapsing.
Companies House accounts show that the couple's company took advantage of the job retention scheme which provides business owners with grants to cover the wages of employees on temporary leave.
Catherine, best known for her role as Eva Price on Coronation Street, has remained in the public eye over the last 18 months, working throughout the pandemic.
The star also appeared on television screens earlier this week, becoming one of the latest celebrities to take part in the new culinary challenge show, Cooking with the Stars.
