Catherine Tyldesley emerges from 'busy weekend of momma life' as she tells mums to 'keep going'

Former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley has inspired her Instagram followers by setting out to prove mums can focus on themselves as well as spend enough time with their children and families.

In recent social media posts, the mum shared her pride at starting to feel herself again after being able to train and exercise following the birth of her most recent child. Last month she opened up about the struggles of being a working parent as she admits juggling motherhood and a career is tough and spoke about the challenges of parenthood alongside a job that often takes her away from her children, eight-year-old Alfie and baby daughter Iris.

But in her most recent Instagram post, Catherine posted a series of cute family pictures appearing to be content with handling a busy but satisfying family life. In one, she appears beaming as she tells her followers, she is 'tired but grateful' after enjoying a weekend of 'busy momma life.'

The pictures showed the mum enjoying fun times with her kids over the weekend. She told her followers it was a case of 'parenting all day' and 'writing at night,' indicating her family and work-life balance working well alongside each other.

Fans reacted by describing her family as 'beautiful,' as she proudly wrote she would be 'clinging to each precious moment.'

This follows a previous post, where she shared a picture of her toned body on Instagram, Catherine opened up about her struggles. She wrote: "This time last year I was 2.5 stones heavier. I’d given birth a few weeks ago and didn’t recognise myself anymore. I suffered with hyperemesis and hormonal insomnia throughout my pregnancy. Which meant I averaged around 2 hours sleep a night for 6 months. We tried everything to help me sleep/feel better and nothing worked. I felt Dreadful."

Reminding other mums not to give up, she said: "I’m finally back to my PB at the gym and feeling stronger and fitter than ever. It’s been really hard at times but for me - But - having children means I want to give them the best version of me, and I want to live for as long as I can."

Fans reacted, calling her 'incredible' and 'inspirational.'
