Catherine Tyldesley calls her husband out after he makes quite fantastic blunder

Catherine Tyldesley took to Instagram to share a brilliant blunder made by her husband Tom Pitfield.

The former Coronation Street star called her hubby out after he packed a bag for their son Alfie to take to swimming.

Instead of packing a swimming costume, however, Tom sent four-year-old Alfie away with a Halloween outfit.

She explained in a video on her Instagram stories, with a stream of swearing face emojis: "Just about to take Alfie swimming.

"Tom's like 'Ive sorted his bag for you.' It's not a swimming outfit, it's a Halloween outfit."

Last month the 36-year-old actress, from Walkden, was 'heartbroken' to have to withdraw from the Strictly Come Dancing live tour following an injury.

She wrote on her Instagram: "I’m absolutely heartbroken to let you all know that I’ve had to finish my time on the @strictlycomedancinglive tour earlier than expected.

"Unfortunately I’ve sustained an injury which means I’ll be unable to dance for a while.

"My experience of the tour has been a complete joy. Each audience has been so full of love for SCD.

"My fellow dancers are all phenomenal and I’m so grateful to have experienced such a magical show.

"Devastated is an understatement. Wishing my Strictly family the best time with the rest of the tour. If you get chance to watch it - GO! It’s unbelievably magical."

Cath left the famous cobbles in 2018.

Her character decided  to start a new life with her baby daughter Susie following the tragic death of her ex Aidan Connor, played by Shayne Ward.
