Catherine Tate took her character seriously as she transformed into Joannie Taylor for the screening of The Nan Movie.
The star was a brand new person as she arrived at the screening at The Ham Yard Hotel in London on Tuesday.
The 52-year-old actress was covered in prosthetics and a messy blonde wig for the occasion and rocked a beige coat as well as a green shirt.
She also wrapped a Ukrainian flag scarf around her neck to complete the look.
Keeping in character, the actress rocked a large black handbag and orthopaedic shoes.
Mathew Horne was all-natural as he arrived wearing a simple black suit and a button-up white shirt. He ditched the tie for the event.
Both were entirely different personalities as they posed for cameras on the red carpet.
Mathew recently admitted he finds it difficult to promote the 'silly' project as the war rages on in Ukraine.
During a chat with Lorraine Kelly earlier this week, he explained: "It is hard to be promoting a silly comedy movie in this heartbreaking situation."
TV presenter Lorraine disagreed and insisted that the British public needed something light-hearted during turbulent times.
She said: "Do we ever need something that’s daft and silly and bawdy and rude – that’s what we need right now."
The Nan Movie follows Nan (played by Catherine) and Jamie (played by Mathew) as they head on a road trip with the goal of fixing her relationship with her estranged sister Nell (played by Katherine Parkinson).
Their road trip comes after they find out Nell is dying.

Catherine's character, Nan, first appeared during her BBC Two sketch show in the early 2000s.
Since then, the Nan character has appeared in a number of spin-off made-for-TV films – but her own big-screen movie will hit cinemas on Friday.
Film director Josie Rourke has previously told Digital Spy: "I think I speak for loads of us when I say that my Gran's spirit lives in Catherine Tate's immortal Nan.
"I have loved working with Catherine over the years on stage, and it is a massive treat to put her Nan on film.
"Here's to her Nan, my Nan, all our Nans. Let's reclaim outrage from loathsome politicians and put it back where it belongs: with our Nans."
