Cathedral Street to be closed due to works this weekend

Cathedral Street is to be closed for essential carriageway resurfacing works this weekend.

The stretch between Collins Street and Castle Street to the east of the city centre will be shut off to traffic between 8am and 5:30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

This also includes the suspension of the taxi rank on St James Road, according to Glasgow City Council.

DIVERSIONS:

Eastbound: Cathedral Street, Stirling Road, St James Road, Castle Street

Westbound: Castle Street, Glebe Street, Stirling Road, Cathedral Street
