Tyrone star Cathal McShane is set to remain with the Red Hands for the 2020 season.
The All-Star forward had a trial with AFL side Adelaide Crows last month, but the Australian side confirmed on Wednesday night that McShane would not be making the move at the moment in a huge boost to Tyrone.
The Crows said in a statement: "It is a big decision to relocate to the other side of the world and pursue a professional career in a different sport.
"Ultimately, this was not something that Cathal was ready for and we wish him the very best in his endeavours both on and off the field."
McShane could return to the Tyrone panel for their Allianz League Division 1 clash with Kerry in Omagh on Sunday.
