Catfish and the Bottlemen to play Swansea's Singleton Park this September after gig rescheduled twice

Singleton Park will shake to the sound of rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen later this year - providing Covid restrictions allow.

The north Walian outfit will play the Swansea venue on Saturday, September 4 - the third date announced for the gig.

They will be supported by Surrey four-piece You And Me At Six, fellow Welsh indie rockers Feeder and Brighton dark pop-rock band Yonaka.

The four groups had been due to play at Singleton Park in May 2020 until the coronavirus pandemic struck and was later rearranged for May 2021, but that date has now been pushed back another four months.

But all tickets bought for last year's event remain valid.

Catfish and the Bottlemen have travelled the world since 2014 and are festival favourites, having performed at Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, and Latitude.

This summer, Covid rules permitting, will see them headline the iconic Reading and Leeds festivals as well as playing Swansea Singleton Park, their largest ever show in Wales.

The band's first album The Balcony achieved platinum status in the UK followed in 2016 and they have now amassed one billion streams to date.

They are one of the UK's biggest UK alternative rock band to emerge this decade.

The group is the latest high-profile act to perform at Singleton Park, following on from Stereophonics and Pete Tong in 2019.

Singleton Park is also due to stage a singalong showing of musical The Greatest Showman.
