Catchphrase viewers switch off over 'most unbearable contestant ever on TV'

Catchphrase fans have been left massively divided over a hilarious contestant on tonight's show.

Some viewers admitted they were switching off as they labelled Sharlene 'the most unbearable contestant ever'.

But others backed the drama teacher, who comes from Leeds, as they called for her to get her own TV show.

Giggly Sharlene revealed to host Stephen Mulhern that she hadn't told any friends or family she was going on the show.

She explained: "Because I don't like deceiving people, I told them I'm on a date with a guy called Stephen."

When gobsmacked Stephen asked where she'd like him to take her for a date, she replied: "I just like getting out the hose so anywhere."

In one hilarious moment, Sharlene shouted out the answer when she couldn't buzz, giving her competitors an easy chance to win cash.

Later on, cheeky Stephen pretended that Charlene had got something wrong after she gave her answer as a rap.

The teacher screamed out in despair, before Stephen revealed he had only been teasing her.

Oh you little joker you," cried Sharlene.

Stephen replied: "What are you like?"

Unfortunately she was beaten by Roger in the second round and failed to win any money.
