Young and middle-aged adults are the group most stressed about catching coronavirus, according to a London study.
The UCLCovid-19 study — the biggest on mental health and wellbeing among adult Britons — found those aged 30-59 were more concerned about becoming infected than those aged 18-29 and those over 60.
Lead author Dr Daisy Fancourt said that since the lockdown two weeks ago more people were worrying about catching Covid-19 or becoming seriously ill.
She added stress over finance and food had decreased.
