Glasgow has spoken. And Catch have listened.
Yesterday, we reported on how Catch were considering introducing cheese fritters to their menu - if there was enough demand.
And due to overwhelming support for the new dish, one of Glasgow's most popular fish and chip joints will be serving up the fritters, 'for this weekend only'.
BUT, they could become a permanent menu item if there is enough take-up this weekend.
Catch team member Adam Boyd told Glasgow Live this morning: "We are doing cheesy fritters in CATCH for one weekend only following the success of our video on Facebook a couple of days ago.
"If we get enough interested customers over the weekend, we will be adding them to the menu permanently."
So, Glasgow, it's in your hands.
And, as an additional bonus, staff confirmed Catch West End will also be serving kids for free this weekend.
Catch have three branches across Glasgow, in the west end, on Gibson Street, in Giffnock at Fenwick Road, and in Netherlee, in Clarkston Road.
