Catch a Monster Boss Locations, Spawn Times & Drops

If you want to get high-tier monsters in Catch a Monster, you have to defeat the different bosses that spawn across all three islands. Along with massive EXP and Coin boosts, these bosses drop different kinds of eggs that you can hatch to get high-tier monsters, shiny and giant variants, and the boss itself. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about all the Catch a Monster bosses, so you can grind whichever you want to.

All Bosses in Catch a Monster

Right now, there are only three bosses in Catch a Monster. One spawns at the Volcano Island, and two spawn on the Frost Isle. No bosses spawn on the Starter Island. See the table below for the exact spawn locations and drops of all the bosses.

Boss Spawn Location Drops
Flaragon Volcano Island
Spawns inside the volcano on a platform surrounded by lava.
Drops a Pyroclasm Egg.
100% chance of hatching the Flaragon.
Glazadon Frost Isle
Spawns at the top of the mountain, near the energy beam portal.
Drops a Glacier Egg.
100% chance of hatching the Glazadon.
Mountusk Frost Isle
Spawns at the top of the mountain, near the energy beam portal. The same spot as Glazadon.
Drops a Sprout Egg.
100% chance of hatching the Mountusk.
Flarecrest Skyheart Isle
Spawns in the Thanksgiving event area.
Drops a Turkey Egg. Also rewards players with Coins and Feathers.
100% chance of hatching the Flarecrest.

Bosses spawn every 15 minutes in Catch a Monster. However, there is no exact order of these bosses' spawning, and only one can spawn at a time. Whenever a boss spawns, you’ll see a message on your screen indicating which one it is.

The Flarecrest boss can no longer spawn in Catch a Monster because the Thanksgiving Event is over and all related content has been removed from the game. That said, you can still get Turkey Eggs to get the Flarecrest by joining in the next Catch a Monster Admin Abuse.
