Police are warning Little Village residents of catalytic converter thefts reported over the last week on the Southwest Side.
In each case, someone stole catalytic converters from parked vehicles during night and early morning hours, Chicago police said in a community alert.
The thefts happened:
• Between 3 p.m. Aug. 19 and 8 a.m. Aug. 20 in the 2700 block of South Spaulding Avenue
• Between 7 p.m. Aug. 19 and 8 a.m. Aug. 20 in the 2800 block of South Drake Avenue
• Between 7 p.m. Aug. 20 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21 in the 2100 block of South Sawyer Avenue
• Between 6:30 p.m. Aug. 22 and 8 a.m. Aug. 23 in the 3200 block of South Harding Avenue
A description of any suspects wasn’t available.
