Chicago police are warning residents of three catalytic converter thefts reported in July in Back of the Yards.
In each incident someone stole catalytic converters from parked vehicles, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
The thefts happened:
- Between 2:30 p.m. July 14 and 3 p.m. July 15 in the 1800 block of West 48th Street;
- Between 8 p.m. July 14 and 8 a.m. July 15 in the 4400 block of South Wood Street; and
- Between midnight and 6:50 p.m. July 16 in the 300 block of West 23rd Street.
