Cat stuck in the engine of van sparks rescue mission

Firefighters were called to rescue a cat stuck in the engine of a van.

A crew from Worksop was sent to the bizarre incident in Netherton Road, Worksop, on Sunday afternoon (August 30).

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service Tweeted: "The incident involved a cat stuck in the engine compartment of a van, (the) fire crew used airbags and small gear to release the cat. A vet and (the) RSPCA were informed."

The crew was called at at 12.36pm.
