A cat has been dubbed a hero after it saved the life of an elderly woman who fell down a ravine by leading rescuers to the scene.
The black puss called Piran frantically meowed until a search team looking for the missing 83-year-old took notice and found her down the embankment in Bodmin, Cornwall.
The woman had fallen approximately 70 feet down the ravine which rescuers say was "incredibly difficult" to access.
