A cat that was trapped in a Second World War bunker for three days has been rescued by volunteers.
The animal had become stuck after slinking through a small opening in the concrete structure in Martlesham, Suffolk.
Appeals to aid the animal were posted on social media, prompting attempts to free the cat, named Droptop.
Warrior Fire and Rescue service were called in for additional help, according the the BBC.
Through the use of heavy drilling machinery, the group of firefighters made a larger opening in the shelter.
Simon Souster, who streamed the rescue attempt as it happened on Monday, captured the moment of release after an estimated three hours' work.
Dozens of volunteers and onlookers could be heard cheering as Droptop escaped to freedom.
