Cat missing after Edinburgh owner takes her on camping trip

A cat owner is desperately looking for her missing pet after it vanished during a camping trip.

Lindsay Black, from Dalry, took Disco camping with her in the Scottish Borders in early March as she didn't want to leave the animal alone.

However she's now heartbroken as Disco bolted out her tent when it collapsed amid bad weather on March 2. The black and white cat hasn't been seen since and Lindsay is appealing for anyone to keep an eye out for her.

She had been camping next to the B709 road near Innerleithen, just past the golf club.

Owner's delight as missing Jack Russell, Ella, returns home

Lindsey told Edinburgh Live: "She has been missing since March 2 in Innerleithen far from her home in Dalry. I have tried everything and still have no luck of finding her.

"I'm so heartbroken."

She added: "She escaped out the tent as it collapsed in on me with the weather. I didn't see her again, I couldn't stay there as it wasn't safe."

Disco is microchipped and has been described as "very timid but really friendly."

Her owner has asked that anyone who finds her to call 07928009296.
