Cat Deeley 'quits LA after 14 years and moves back to London to raise kids in UK'

Cat Deeley has reportedly give up her life in Los Angeles after 14 years and moved back home to London to be closer to her family.

The presenter, 43, who moved to Beverly Hills to start a career stateside more than a decade ago, is said to have packed up her things and left life in the USA behind so she can raise her kids in the UK.

She put her $5million (£3.8 million) mansion up for sale earlier this month, which sparked rumours she would be moving back.

Now sources say she's already secretly settled down in London with her husband Patrick Kielty and their kids.

"Cat was discussing putting the house up for sale months ago, they didn't want to rent it out because they were considering buying a property in the UK," a source told The Sun.

"This is more of a permanent move."

They added: "She is a household name, and they both made it work in LA, but Patrick gets a lot more work back home, and she could always fly back and forth when the pandemic eases up."

Cat's four-bed property, which she purchased in 2006 in the Californian celebrity hotspot, is listed on the market for $4,995,000 (£3.8m).

The source said Cat, her presenter husband and their sons Milo and James were "more than ready for this" as she dreams of raising her children in Britain.

It's said to be a "new adventure" for the family.

Cat has been planning her move to London since the start of this year, but seems to have finally took the plunge.

She will still be travelling back and fourth to the US for work to finish off some projects, but for the time being Cat will be based in Britain.

Her beautiful LA home is set to make more than a million in profit after she bought it for $2,699,000 (£2.1m) back in 2006.

Her move has come at the perfect time as she's set to reunite with Ant and Dec for an SM:TV Live special.

It appears she is enjoying being back at home as she's already been sharing snaps hard at work doing audio sessions for her new children's book The Joy in You.

Cat moved to LA in 2006 and secured herself an incredible career, including becoming the host of American reality show So You Think You Can Dance.

Mirror Online has contacted Cat's rep for comment.
