Cat Deeley 'fears how estranged husband Patrick Kielty is coping as she moves out of their London home'

Cat Deeley is reportedly worried about how her estranged husband Patrick Kielty is taking their break up as she moves out of their home.

The 48-year-old This Morning host split from the 54-year-old comedian in July after 12 years of marriage.

On Saturday, photos published by The Sun showed a removal van parked outside their north London rental property, showing movers loading boxes with lamps and chairs.

Patrick is rumoured to be staying at the property, which is just a short way away from the couple’s £5million five-bedroom ‘forever home’, which they bought two years ago and have since been renovating.

Cat is allegedly worried about how her former partner is coping with the end of their marriage.

According to a source: “She's worried Patrick seems to be taking longer to adjust.

“He misses the family unit, and the pressure of work on top of the public split has made it hard for him.

The source said: “Cat still cares a lot for him and wants him to be in a good place for the boys and for himself so that does cause her some concern.'

The couple announced their separation in July, saying: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.

“We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.'

Patrick’s family were reported to be hoping for a reconciliation between the two, and when Cat did not attend Patrick’s mother’s funeral back in March, they realised this was not possible.

One relative told the Daily Mail: 'Whatever rockiness was going on in the marriage, something as momentous as his mother's funeral, you would make up even temporarily and just put your 'best face' on as we say in Northern Ireland.

“Cat obviously knew how close Patrick was to Mary and she should have come to be by his side, a hand on his shoulder as he buried his mother. The fact that she stayed in London and presented This Morning on the day, it's not been forgotten.”

The source added: “In a very tight knit community in Northern Ireland, people always turn out. It's the done thing. His family remain very upset by this. They still can't believe it. It was the point when we all realised that that marriage had ended.”

Patrick looked devastated he carried Mary's coffin through his home town, where he was supported by close family and friends at the Church of the Sacred Heart.

At the time, Cat’s spokesperson said: “Cat remained at home to be there for her two young children before and after school on this very sad day.”

The house they started renovating is also expected to be another source of contention throughout the divorce.

The £5million 1950’s doer-upper was purchased by the couple in 2023, and apparently means ‘a lot’ to both of them, being the centre of their worlds for the past two years.
