A Co Down school has done its bit to remind pupils they’re missed by teachers with a comedy music video.
Staff and pupils at St Malachy’s College in Castlewellan worked remotely for a number of weeks to create the tongue-in-cheek lockdown movie.
Singing a Coronavirus edit of the Friends theme I’ll Be There For You, everyone taking part offers a glimpse into how they’re passing the time of day now they can’t go to school any more.
The short film is introduced by school Principal Orla O’Neill who tells students “we miss you every day”, but that they are “doing the right thing” by staying at home.
But to “lift your spirits”, staff and students worked remotely for a few weeks, she says, to create this “very special music video”.
