A police investigation is underway after the sudden death of a man in Co Down last night.
Emergency services were alerted to the death in the New Meadow Road area of Castlewellan on Monday evening, June 17.
A postmortem will be carried out in due course.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man in the New Meadow Road area of Castlewellan yesterday evening (Monday 17th June).
"A postmortem will be carried out in due course to determine the cause of death. There are no further details at this time."
