Police have launched an investigation after a man was attacked in the early hours of the morning in Castlemilk.
Emergency services were called to Dougrie Drive at 1.05am on Sunday after a report of a man having been injured following a serious assault. He was rushed to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment.
Police have asked anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward with information.
A police spokesperson said: "Around 1:05am on Sunday, 13 December, 2020, police received a report a man had been injured following a serious assault in Dougrie Drive, Castlemilk.
"Emergency services attended and the man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact police."
