When it comes to Edinburgh and castles, it's easy to think of the obvious. But according to a luxury travel magazine there's another castle, just an hour's drive from the capital, we should consider paying attention to as well.
Conde Nast have just published an article of the 'most unique Airbnbs in the UK', featuring the likes of dome houses in Surrey, windmills in Kent and a shipping container in Devon.
There are also two Scottish entries included the list of nine, one of which is a £900 a night 16th Century castle.

Described by owners as an 'authentic medieval mini castle', the one-of-a-kind Barns Tower is bursting with character, boasting roaring log fires and enough beds to sleep up to ten people in a stunning setting by the River Tweed.
And Conde Nast have hailed the accommodation, a short drive from Peebles, as a 'standout stay' for a big group.
Writers said of the historic site, which has been fully updated to include all the mod cons; "The old stone castle has been carefully renovated, so there are wood-burners in most of the bedrooms and underfloor heating throughout.
"Bathrooms are ultra-modern with copper baths, rainfall showers and walk-in wet rooms in the turrets.
"The kitchen is a dream for feeding the whole crew thanks to two ovens, a large induction hob and a fridge freezer. If you can’t face the idea of slaving over a stove though, there’s an onsite cook you can enlist."
And those who have stayed there certainly seem to agree, with the Airbnb scoring an excellent 4.99 rating from 146 reviews.
