Castle Douglas youngster bakes treats for town's ambulance team

A youngster from Castle Douglas has been making treats for key workers.

Nine-year-old Jesse Callander did some baking and took it down to the ambulance station in the town to thank the staff for all the hard work they are doing. She handed over a selection of cookies, cakes and chocolate krispies to Keith Roxburgh and the team.

In return, they gave her a talk on the PPE the paramedics have to wear during the Covid-19 pandemic and showed her the suits and face masks.

Jesse also made her own NHS T-shirt.
