Talented women showcased their skills at the Stewartry Scottish Women’s Institute Federation Show last weekend.
The biennial highlight of the SWI calendars took place in Castle Douglas Town Hall.
Some of the SWI members gave visitors demonstrations of their handiwork and even let them have a go at being creative themselves.
Stewartry Federation chairwoman Kate Smith: “It was a great event again this year with a lot of beautiful entries in the floral art, baking, needlework and artwork sections that were produced by member’s of the area’s women’s institutes.
“Judges had a hard task deciding who to award top prizes to.
