Castle Douglas Primary pupils put on Christmas show with sign language

Castle Douglas Primary School pupils have been performing a Christmas show with a difference.

Because of the restrictions in place, pupils aren’t able to sing in school this year so a sign language Christmas show was held instead.

The children, from nursery to P7, learned either Signalong or Makaton Sign language so they could still share their Christmas joy.

Each class performed a song in sign language with musical instruments and the children performed amazingly well.

The school is releasing one performance a day on the school Facebook page and website for everyone to enjoy the show.
