Castle Douglas World Book Day

Youngsters at Scruffs Childcare in Castle Douglas had great fun celebrating World Book Day on Thursday.

They wore their pyjamas to promote bed time reading and the children also brought in their favourite books.

They discussed their likes and dislikes of their favourite books and made Gruffalo cakes, inspired by The Gruffalo, and Tiger biscuits, inspired by The Tiger Who Came To Tea.
